The QℱI-Meritus team will return to compete in the upcoming GP2 Asia Series following a successful maiden appearance in the championship last season.

The Malaysian-based team assumed the 13th and final GP2 Asia entry for last year's inaugural season aft🦋er regular competitors R♉acing Engineering announced they wouldn't be taking part.

With the new GP2 Series C🐎hampions once again deciding to sit out this year's championship, QI-Meritus will fill their position with 🦄another two driver effort.

Despite their lack of experience in GP2, QI-Meritus, which normally races in Formula Renault V6 Asia, nonetheless impressed with their accꦜomplished driver line-up of Luca🐲 Filippi and Hiroki Yoshimoto.

Finishing nintꦅh overall in the standings, the team managed a best result o♕f fourth, although Filippi had been disqualified from a race that he won following innocuous tyre error.

Th🌠e new GP2 Asia Series gets underway in Shanghai on 18/19th October as a support race for the Chinese Grand Prix.
