Lorenzo Zanet🔜ti has dedicated his first World Supersport Championship victory to the late Andrea Antonelli after breaking his duck on home soil in Imola.

Sporting a helmet in tribute of Ayrton Senna, who died at Imola 20 years ago on May 1st, Zanetti was in good form throughout the we🍎ekend and would find himself inﷺ the correct place when Kenan Sofuoglu retired ahead of him.

Leading a PATA Honda 1-2, a thrilleℱd Zanetti went on to dedicated his victory to countryman Antonelli, who died afte𝓡r a collision that involved Zanetti at the Moscow Raceway last year.

"It's been an amazing weekend and it's fantastic to win at my home race. I don't have many words, b𒈔ut I want to thank everybody for all their work. I thought from Friday that I might be✱ able to win, but I was under a lot of pressure for the race because it was my home race, and the sponsors' home race!

"I was able to stay with Kenan [Sofuoglu] but after he pulled in I won ♑the race and I want to dedic🃏ate the victory to Andrea Antonelli. This is for him."
