Corvette withdraws #63 car after crash

The #63 Corvette♚ of Jan Magnussen, Antonio Garcia and Ryan Briscoe has been withdrawn from the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours following its 💝shunt during qualifying.

The experienced Magnussen was at the wh෴eel of the Corvette C7.R when an apparent mechanical issue ca🔯used it to run on into the barriers at the Porsche Curves during second qualifying.

Causing the session to be sꦰtopped 45mins early, though th🎃e Dane took time to be extricated from the car, he has been given the all-clear from the ACO medical team and would have been likely fit enough to race.

However, significant damage to the right-hand side of the car and an investigation iꩵnto whaꦍt caused the smash has forced the American manufacturer to take it out of the running.
