There💖 will now be the usuꦇal end of day practice starts on the home straight.

The Sepang Shakedown e🔯nds with a Yamaha one-two by Fabio Quartarar𒐪o and Jack Miller.

Aleix Espargaro is third for Honda, Ai Ogura (Trackhouse💦 Aprilia) is the top rookie in fourth ahead of Pol Espargaro (KTM) and Fermin Aldegue💖r (Gresini Ducati).

Less than a minute to go🧜 and Alei♓x Espargaro puts Honda into 3rd on the timesheets.

The new꧒ HRC test ride💛r looks to be on the very latest RC213V.

Just a few minutes to go and some riders are still head⛄ing out, with the red and🍸 white lights flashing.

Aleix Espargaro, Aleജx Rins, Fermin Aldeguer, Ai O♈gura currently on track.

And there it is! 

Fabio Quartararo sets the first 1m 57s of the year to fꦉastest with just under ten minutes remaining.

Som✅e riders are staying out despite the red and white flags.

"Slight d𝓀rizzle on track" has just fla🅰shed up on screen.

L🀅ots of riders out for what could be the fastest (coolest) conditions of the day, will we see ꧒a 1m 57?

Into the last 15mins of testing and it's still Jack Miller and Fabio Quartararo on top, but ro♈okie Ai Ogura is up to 3rd and on anot🐓her fast lap.

One hour of the Sepang Shakedown to go and Yamaha are the moﷺst active manufacturer on track with Jack Miller, Fabio Q𓆉uartararo and Augusto Fernandez all on track. 

Just under two hours remaining and it's still Jack Miller🍃 fastest from Pramac Yamaha from Monster Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo then Pol E🌌spargaro (KTM), Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Ducati) and Aleix Espargaro (Honda).

Five riders currently on track and, as long as rain stays away, the circuit should get fa🦄ster as the temperature drops slightly in the late afternoon.

Ogura is still going!

As this is not an official test there is no lap by lap breakdown, just bes꧋t lap time, but the reigning Moto2 champion might looks to be aiming for at least a Sprint ra꧑ce distance...

3:45pm and it looks like rookie Ai Og𒅌ura has been doing a long run/race simulation.

Impressive from the Trackhouse Aꦅprilia rider who's clearly in good physical sha♈pe.

2:40pm and, while a few rider🃏s have been out, the track is silent again in the middle of the afternoon heat.

And the track falls silent once again.

Aleix Espargaro just pi🦂tted with what looks like the new (all-black) Honda. Appears to have more of a pronounced ground-effect style step on the fairing sides.

To confirm, it looks like Augusto Fernandez is going to ride the M1 all day today. No sign of Dovi, who did the Yamaha test team running on day 1 ℱand all but the closing stages of day 2.

Jack Miller is on the all-black Pramacꦜ at present, so presumably try🐭ing the 2025 parts.

1:30pm and with temperatures rising the faste♛st laps are not being threatened, but it's also the best time to try longer race-pace styꦦle runs.

I🧸t's probably not a coincidence that the riders currently on track are all Yamahas, Jack Miller (still fastest of all), Alex Rins and test rider Augusto Fernandez.

Yamaha has a new aerodynamic package, chassis, electronics and 'steps' on th♏e engine to try.

12:40pm and the track is now silent with some teams and riders st🌟artin𝔉g their unofficial lunch break.

A rundown of the maximum speeds so far today💙:&nb🌼sp;

Michele Pir❀ro (Ducati), Miguel Oliveira (Pramac Yamaha) and Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Ducati) ♍are all tied on 333.3km/h.

Alex Rins (Monster Yamaha) ꩵhas a 331.3km/h and top-of-the-timing screens Jack Miller (Pramac Yamaha) ♑a 330.3km/h.
