‘Now the story changes a little bit’ - Ex-Haas boss Guenther Steiner working on second F1 book
A second book about ex-Haas boss Guenthꦓer🧸 Steiner's time in F1 is in the works.

Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has revealed he is working on a second book about his time in F1.
Steiner, who departed Haas af❀♓ter the American team opted against renewing his contract for the 2024 season, published his first book last year.
‘Surviving to Drive’ was written as a diary of the year and took readers inside Haas’ roll▨ercoaster 2022 season, selling 150,000 copies.
Now, Steiner, whose popularity has skyrocketed in recent years thanks to Netflix’s Drive to Surviv✨e series giving him cult status, has confi💝rmed a second book is in the works.
The book was already planned prior to his exit from Haas, and ཧSteiner joked the story “maybe changes a little bit” now.
“We are working on t🐈he second book at the moment,” S🔯teiner told .
“That was planned alread🔜y before [leaving Haas]. Now, obviously, the story maybe c💧hanges a little bit!”
Steiner insists that the time he spent on his first book, alongside his TV stardom, did not take his focus away f🤡rom Haas.
"I think 🍎people are overrating that, how 𝔍much distraction that is, because it isn't actually a lot of distraction from the daily job,” he explained.
“Obviously on the race weekends, you need to wo𒉰rk more. But for example, I didn't have 2ꦬ0 [sponsor] appearances a weekend, I had maybe three maximum.
“It's not like that is✤ distracting, even writing the book. Obviously, a ghostwriter does it for you.
“Now I've got more time, but even now, we do two🐎 sessions a week of half an hour. We do one on Tuesday and one on Friday. That's all I do, he does the rest.
“You spea🉐k with him, but it's not like I spent days speaking with him. I know that some people have spent days speaking with these people, but I didn’t.
“I don't think that is a big factor. I think that there were more ben🐼efits for the team than anything else about t🐎his because they got a lot of sponsors."
