Puccetti Racing Kawasaki begin their preparations for&nb♌sp;the 2021 WorldSSP season today, as testing for Philip Oettl and Can Oncu takes place at the Misan𝓰o World Marco Simoncelli Circuit. 

Sever𝓀al World Superbike and World Supersport teams are in attendance for the two-day test, wi𝓀th the former Grand Prix pair also being joined by fellow Puccetti Racing rider Lucas Mahias of the premier class.

Oettl and Oncu are both former Moto3 rideꦐrs and in the German's case a♛lso a Moto2 rider. 

Oncu made the move 🉐across to WorldSSP after two seasons with the Aki Ajo KTM Moto3 team and is a former Red Bull Rookies C♓up winner.

Puccetti Racing Kawasaki have had greaꦡt success in the WorldSSP class predominantly in the hands of fellow Turkish rider Kenan Sofuoglu.&𓆏nbsp;

For all his racing experience Oncu is still o✤nly seve𒈔nteen years-old, and has been speaking about his approach for the first test. 

"What I need to do is know♎ the team better and work out who is who and what their names are!," said Oncu.

"This is completely new, so I need to understand the b🧔ike, make long race runs and al🍨so do shorter runs.

"The shorter runs I th🃏ink will be two or three ಌlaps, to improve the Superpole, which wasn’t great for me last year."

Like Oncu, it will be Oettl's second season in the champi🔴onship, and the German will be expected൲ to provide a title challenge for the team after four podiums last season. 

Oettl added: "My objectiv🦂e is to first, ride the bike and get back with the team. I haven’t seen the guys since November when I was at the workshop.

"It’s important to start working again, riding again, and getting the feeling for the bike and for everything elseಞ.

"I would l💧ike to work on the electronics and also with the suspension. We have something from WP which we have to try; they are my two major points."
