WorldSBK test: ‘I just need to ride again’ - Davies eager to begin Catalan test

WorldSBK testing comes into focus today and tomorrow with an Official two days꧒ of action in Barcelona which will see Chaz Davies get his first laps with GoEleven Ducati.
The Welsh ri✅der goes into his tenth season in World Superbike, but first since 2014 where he won’t be i🃏n the factory Ducati team.
Davies is a three-time championship runner-up to Jonathan Rea, and has been one of t♛he most consistent riders in the𝓰 series’ history.
Davies sits seventh on the all time winners list with 32 wins, but was repl🦩aced by Michael Ruben-Rinaldi for the 2021 campaign.
It has not been the smoothest pre-season so far for the 34 yea♏r-old who recently had Covid-19, but Davies has since made a full recovery ahead of the Official test.
Speaking ahead of his first action with Team GoEleven Ducati, Davies said: "Finally, I will get the opportunity to join up with Go Eleven i𒆙n this circuit.
"It has been a long awaited debut with the new Team, but it looks like we are there! I recovered from Covid, so we can cerꦉtainly make our first steps on track.
"For the test 🙈itself, obviously, after a long time not riding the bike the objectives are quite basic and simple.
"I just need to ride agai﷽n, to recover the feeling and I think just enjoy the two days, enjoy working with my new crew and nothing really more than that.
"There are&nbs💟p;no parts really to test, so basically we just have to start the new꧙ season."
