Miguel Oliveira has been passed fit to return to MotoGP action at Sepang, buཧt the Portuguese is far from certain he will be able to complete the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend.

The Tech3 KTM rider damaged ligaments in both wrists when he was blown off track by a gust of wind at Phillip Island, ruling him out of the race and also aggravating his shoulder injury f﷽rom Silverstone.

"We 🎃went through the medical checks here and I'm cleared to ride tomorrow, but until I get on the bike I can't really tell tꦓhe true limitations of my injury," Oliveira said at Sepang on Thursday.

"Obviously [the Sepang doctors] knew my condition because they had access toꦡ the MRI I did in🐎 Melbourne on Sunday. So they were just checking if the swelling was coming down as expected and basically we did some resistance tests.

"But to shake the hand of the doctor, or grab two fingers is very different from r💟iding these bikes.

"So we just have to wait until tomorrow and after a couple of laps, or the end ofꦜ FP1, we will make a final decision."

In terms of which of the injuries will pose the biggest problem, Oliveira repꦓlied: "As you know the shoulder has been a problem since [Silverstone] and to recover while I'm riding is very difficult.

"But actually right now the wrists are more painful. And until I ride the bike tomorrow I'm not able to say if I'm aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚble to be competitive enough to do the weekend.

"The only risk now of riding is obviously crashing and making everything that is already not good, even worse… That's 🐭what happened to my shoulder."

Oliveira is 17th in the world championship with 33 points, putting him ten points behind Andrea Iannone and three ahead of Johann Zꦚar♒co.
