Vic🏅tory by an RCV rider at this weekend's French MꦬotoGP would mark Honda’s 300th premier-class win.

It would be the latest milestone in a 53-year journey which begaඣn wit🌜h Jim Redman’s win on an RC181 in 1966.

Back on top of the present world championship after banishing his Austin error wiꦺth victory in Jerez, Marc Marquez is the clear favourite to claim that 300th Honda win.

The Repsol Honda star has taken victory in two of the four races so far this season, but only won twice at Le Mans (2014 and 2018) si♌nce joining the premier-class in 2013.

“We had a very strong weekend in Jerez and a productive test but this is MotoGP aꩲnd we must always keep working," said the reigning five-time MotoGP champion.

"Between races I was able to relax a little bit at the F1 and also the Leipzig versus Bayern game, riding ღmy bike in the stadium was great and the noise was incredible.

"Le Mans can be a tricky GP, especially with the weather so we must ꦕbe prepared for any conditions. Last year I was able to win here but we always face a lot of opposition.”

Marquez - who spent the Jerez test trying 'new concepts', including setting his best lap time on the carbon-fibre r♔einforced frame of Stefan Brad🧸l🃏 (pictured) - is one point clear of Suzuki🍎's Alex Rins at the head of the world championship.
