Maverick Vinales says his goal is to claim a hoꩲme MotoGP podium at Catalunya, for the first time 📖this weekend.

The Spaniard has made it onto the rostrum before in the smaller classes but has yet to break into the top three in the premie♐r class in Barcelona.

Vinale🉐s has been out of contention since his podium finish in Austin but still remains third place in the points standings, only five poin✅ts behind team-mate Valentino Rossi.

The Movistar Yamaha rider, who was fastest in the recent private te♏st at Catalunya, said: “Montmeló is a very ﷽special track for me because it's my home Grand Prix,” Vinales said.

“There is always a beautiful atmosphere there, with so many enthusiastic fans. Despite the result in Mugello (eighth) we are in a good mood and very motivated. We will tr📖y to obtain as many points as we can to continue going upwards in the way we're approaching this championship.

“I would love to be on the po🐭dium in Montmeló, that would be great f꧋or me and for the team,” he added.

“They are ꦫworking hard to find the best set-up for our bike in every GP, so let's keep focused and we’ll show the best side of u🌠s for our fans.”
