Crutchlow reveals broken ankle

Cal Crutchlow has said that his injure🎐d left ankle is both fractured a𒀰nd dislocated.

A Saturday eveni♍ng statement from his Yamaha Tech 3 team, following the morning practice fall, appeared▨ to rule out any fractures:

"Extensive analy𒆙sis of the [hospital] scans has revealed the former World Supersport Champion hasn't suffered any fractures 💃and he is already able to put weight on his left foot after doctors reduced the swelling around his heel and ankle."

But after passing a m🃏edical check and completing Sunday's Silverstone warm-up, 💛Crutchlow wrote on Twitter:

"Full extent of injury is I have a broken and dislocated left ankle. It's back in place now but worst pain I🃏've had so will try my best in race."

Crutchlow, who missed last year's British GP with a broken collarbone, set the tenth fastest lap in warm-up. He will start from 20th and last o🌺n the grid after missing qualifying.
