Felix Rosenqvist cleared for IndyCar return after Pocono crash
Chip Ganassi Racing's Felix Rosenqvist has received medical clearance to race in this weekend's Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Gateway follꩵowing his high-speed crash at Pocono on Sunday.

The Swedish driver was taken to a local hospital with "non-life threatening injuries" before being cleared later in the day, but still required a further medical clearance to rac🎀e at Gateway this weekend.
However, this approval has now been received, ensuring Rosenqvist can take𝐆 the start for the third-to-last race of the s𒁏eason.
"Following further medical e𒆙xaminations, Felix has been cleared by NTT IndyCar Series to race in this weekend’s Bommarito Aut✃omotive Group 500 at Gateway," a short statement reads.
"The decision follows Sunday’s crash at Pocono."
"I am happy to be cle💟ared for racing this weekend and I look forward to getting back in the car at Gateway,” said R♔osenqvist.
Rosenqvist currently sits ninth in the drive🍸rs' standings with one pole and one podium finish to his name, leading the Rookꩵie of the Year classification.
