After the highs of a double victory at Oulton Park plus signing a two-year Moto2♑ deal, Jake Dixon is eager to carry his momentum into Assen to crank up the pressure on Bennetts British Superbike title rival Leon Haslam.

The RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki rider stormed t𒁃o both race wins at the opening BSB Showdown round to trim Haslam’s advantage to 31 points with two r🐭ounds and five races remaining.

Dixon feels he’s gained a ti꧃mely rhythm to attack for the BSB crown both from his riding and with the Lee Hardy Racing team and wants to enjoy the final two roundsꦇ starting at Assen after a frantic couple of weeks.

The 23-year-old went to Aragon to finalise his two-year Moto2 w🌳orld championship move with the Aspar-run Angel Nieto team, confirming he will leave BSB after two-and-a-half seasons, and is determined to finish on the ultimate high.

“I want to enjoy the weekend again because the minute when you put too much pressure on yourself it becomes a whole differ♏ent scenario,” Dixon said. “Leon has the pressure on him and I’m just going to enjoy myself and hopefully get two more good re𓆏sults.

“The start of the Showdown was great with two wins at Oulton Park. It couldn’t have gone better. The team have been working fantastic a💞nd I really like Assen. I haven’t done a lot th🌠ere but I have also watched a lot and I can’t wait to get going.

“I feel like the bike is in a better place than it was last year and I think as soon as we roll out we should be good, we will work hard fro༺m the start of the weekend.”
