Benyahia sets sights on Venturi Formula E seat for Season 5
Moroccan youngster Michael Benyahia has set his sights o𒆙n claiming a full-time Formula E seat with the Venturi team for the electric championship’s fifth season.
Benyahia, 17, won last year’s Formula Renault 2.0 NEC title, has worked with the Venturi t💛eam sinc🧸e September in a development role, enjoying run-outs in the Valencia and Marrakesh tests.

Benyahia, 17, won last year’s Formula Renault🧸 2.0 NEC title, has worked with the Venturi team since September in a development role, enjoying run-outs in the Valencia and Marrakesh tests.
Benyahia was present throughout the Marrakesh E-Prix weekend in🌊 his home country, and while he is focused on his development duties for Venturi through Season Four, he hopes to be in contention for a full-tim🐽e seat in the future.
“I have a lot of sim days to complete over the season. That’s really my main goal for th♊is season,” Benyahia said.
“Hop🍷efully next season I’ll be able to be a fu🐷ll-time driver for Venturi. I’ll see what happens.
“Bꦍut this year I’l🍎l be mainly doing simulator work.”
Benyahia confirmed he was unlikely to pursue another rac🌊ing programme in 2018 in order to focus on his Venturi commitments, which will see him be on-site for the team at each Formula 🐎E race.
