New F1 pit complex plans revealed for 2019 Canadian GP
Plans for a new pit and paddock complex at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal have been unveiled, with Formula 1 first set to benefit aꦬt the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix.
A new contract for the grand prix was announced in March running through to 2029, including a commitment to i🏅ntroduce improved facilities for the teams and paddock to use.
At a press conference earlier this week, the Societe Parc Jean-Drapeau unveiled renderings of the new pit 🅺complex that would be used, covering three levels to ꦦaccommodate the teams, media and guests visiting the track.

The project will cost an estimated CA$48 million, and construction work is planned t𝄹o begin next July following the grand prix one mon🤡th earlier. It will then be completed in April 2019 ahead of that year's race.
