New F1 pit complex plans revealed for 2019 Canadian GP
Plans for a new pit and paddock complex 💞at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal have been unveiled, with Formula 1 first set to benefit at the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix.
A new contract for the grand prix was announced in March running through to 2029,💃 including a commitment to introduce improved facilities for the teams and paddock to use.
At a press conference earlier this week,🏅 the Societe Pa🎃rc Jean-Drapeau unveiled renderings of the new pit complex that would be used, covering three levels to accommodate the teams, media and guests visiting the track.

The project will cost an estima꧒ted CA$48 million, and construction work is planned to begin next July following the grand prix one month earlier. It will then be completed in April 2019 ahead of that year's race.
