Sauber confirmed on Saturd♏ay at a launch event it would be retaining Marcus Ericsson𒀰 alongside the incoming Ferrari youngst𝄹er and Formula 2 🌌champion Charles Leclerc in 2018, leaving the Italian marque's other hopeful, Antonio Giovinazzi, to take up a third driver role.

Ericsson has not scored 🅠any points in F1 since 2015, yet has been kept on in favour of previous teammates Felipe Nasr and Pascal Wehrlein amid reported l🀅inks to the team's owners.
