Jean Todt is set to spend a third term as FIA president after being th𝄹e only candidate to submit a comple🎃ted application ahead of the upcoming General Assembly meeting in Paris.

Former Ferrari Formula 1 chief Todt became FIA president in 2009 after defeating Finnish rally legend ♛;Ari Vatanen, and ran un𒐪opposed in 2013 to secure a second term after the opposing David Ward withdrew after failing to gain enough support.

T𓆉odt announced his intention to run for a third term as FIA president back in May, and was confirmed as the only candidate in a statement issued by motorsport's world governing body on Wednesday.

Todt's third term as FIA president - set t✃o last until 2021 - will be confirmed at the FIA Annual General Assembly in Paris on December 8.
