More Malaysians to follow Yoong into F1?
Europea⛦n-Minardi driver Alex Yoong might not be the only Malaysian driver in F1 in 2002 if Malaysian sports minister Datuk Hishamuddin Hussein gets his way.
In an article published in the New Straits Times he admitted that he also hopes tᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚo get Fairuz Fauzy a testing contrac𒀰t for 2002.
He said: "If Fairuz is as good as I hear he is, then maybe he deserves to test with Minardi next 🍸year."
"Now that Alex (Yoong) is with the team, I think I should start to help Fairuz pursue his career as well. I think I should try tಞo help Fairuz, and also Salad💦in next year."
