Aron Canet claimed victory in a shortened Bri🐟tish Moto3 Grand Prix at Silverstone.

The race was shaping up for a thrilling climax, with a lea🐽d group of 13 riders all tussling for victory as the last lap began.

But an accident involving Juanfran Guevara saw the RBA rider require medical treatment in the run-o𝐆ff area at Brookland, bringing the contest to a premature end. The team later confirmed he had escaped injury.

At the end of the previous complete lap, Canet was leading by 0.063s over Estrella Galicia Honda team-mate Enea Bastianini, thus handing the Spaniard rid🔴er his third victory of the season and ♍Bastianini a first podium

Jorge🍌 Martin (Gresini Honda) completed the rostrum in th🐈ird.

Gabriel Rodrigo (RB💦A KTM), Leopard team-mates Joan Mir and Livio Loi, plus Romano Fenati ꧂(Snipers Honda) and Andrea Migno (VR46 KTM) were all classified within one-second of Canet.

Home star John McPhee (British Talent Team) was among those to lose out most du꧑e to the stoppage, finishing 13th, but just two-seconds from victory!
