Buemi saw his bid for a second Formula E title bid crumble on the Saturday of the season finale in Montreal after a practice crash was then followed by an incident-strewn race that he wa൩s ultimately disqualified from.
Buemi was forced into an unscheduled pit stop early on after contact with Frijns at the first corner, sparking an angry tirade from the Swiss driver in the pit l🧸ane after the race.
Unfortunately for Buemi, he got Frijns confused with team-mate da Costa, the latter left perplexed as he was lambasted just moments after stepping out of the car. After being corrected, Buemi went 🏅to find Frijns and gave him a similar lecture to da Costa.
With the dust having settled from Montreal, Buemi took to Twitter on Wednesday to iss🐼ue an apology to his team and the Andretti drivers for his behaviour.
After some rest, I would like to apologize to my team, Da Costa and Frijns for my outburst at the last Race. ꦯSee you in S4

One name ꦜwas notably omitted from 🧔Buemi’s apology: Daniel Abt.
