Peter Collins is to be awarded an MBE for his servicesꦛ to speedway.
Collins, who spent all 17-years of 🌜his British career with Belle Vue, lifted the world crown in Poland in 1976. He also won numerous domestic competitions with🦹 the Manchester club along with England international honours.

it's a very proud m൩oment for me, my family and the sport,'' said a delighted Collins. ''The timing is perfect after the amazing success of last week's British Grand Prix in Cardiff. Speedway is certainly on the up, ther✱e is no doubt about it.''
