"I had discussions with the stadium▨ owners as soon as I was contacted by concerned supporters as all of this was new to me " said Golding " however, our landlords were quick to assure us that there were no plans afoot to sell the stadium and they themselves were most disturbed about the stories that were doing the rounds."

Poole Council, owners of the town stadium where the P🐓irates have raced for the past 59 years, also assured the Castle Cover Pirates owners and fans that it had no plans to sell up.

The leader of Poole Council Brian Leverett said " It was the aim of this Council t𒁃o preserve that area as a Stadium and protect and retain within Poole sports such as speedway. Our view on this has not changed💜."
