Sheffield Tigers have booke꧒d former favourite George Stancl for their Premier Trophy trip to Workington on Saturday (7pm).

Stancl started his career with the Owlerton side in 1994 but now rides for Glasgow and he will make a guest appearance as cover ℱfor injured skipper Andre Compton.

Tigers are also expected to hold crisis talks behind closed doors ahead of the meeting after their 75-15 humil𒈔iation at King's Lynn in mid-week.

Club bosses have already issued a full apology to those supporters who made the journey to Norfolk and suffered on♊e of the worst results ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚin the club's history.

Said club owner Neil Machin: "We're pleased to have George in our team, he likes the Workington track and he will do his very best for us, there 🐬is no doubt about that.

"It's never easy picking guests, ♈th𝓀at's for sure, but I'm sure we have made the right choice in George."
