Not content with winning race two at the last Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series round at Winton, HPM Racing and Luke Youlden today unveiled the next st👍age of the team's 2007 assault - a new BA Falcon, just in time for next weekend's action at Queensland ಞRaceway.

It was a brimming Youlden who sat, for the first, in the striking yellow and black Ford, which has been supplied to HPM Racing by former🐟 Deve🌱lopment Series contender, Tony Evangelou.

"This is the biggest thing to happen ꦺto HPM Racing since𒉰 the launch of our two car team in February. The AU Falcon I've been driving has been a very reasonable car but moving to a BA Falcon from Queensland Raceway onwards, puts us in for a real chance for podium results," Youlden said.

"🌌We proved in the wet at Winton, by winning the second race, that we have the capability to do really well, but the old AU was just not competitive enough against the quality of the cars in the field this year."

Preparations for the move to the new BA HPM Racing Falcon have been in the pipeline for a few weeks but it was only a matter of days ago that the deal was sealed and today🧸 it rolled out of the paint shop in the distinctive team colours.

"The car looks fantastic. We have been commended all year on the look of the HPM Racing Falcon and this takes it to another level. It's a credit to Tony [Evan🃏gelou] and his guys for the quality that the HPM Falcon is presented," Youlden added.

Questioned on whether he is familiar with the now #76 HPM Ford, Youlden repl𒁏ied: "To be honest I've never driven it, but I'm lucky that our first outing is at Queensland Raceway. I know that track like the back of my hand after testing there over the last five years with SBR and Steve Ellery Racing. I'll be up to speed after the first practice session."

Team principal of HPM Racing, Aaron McGill meanwhile is equally delighted about the latest team de🎐velopment: "I'd like to thank Tony for his help in getting the car organised for us. It's a great day for HPM Racing and for our sponsor HPM. There's no doubt that with Luke behind the wheel, this ꧟car is capable of podium finishes and that's what we will be aiming for from this weekend onwards.

"We knew a few races ago that Luke's AU was just not up to the likes of the other cars in this year's [Development Series] championship. When we𝔉 won at Winton, it was the final straw, we knew then we had to find a fast car for Luke and with the support of HPM and our other sponsors we've been able to pull off the deal," McGill concluded.
