One engine for Moto2.

The FIM has confirmed that the new Moto2 class, which will replace the 250cc World Championship, is to have a single engi💧ne supplier.
Moto2, which will feature 600cc four-stroke engines and a prototype chassis, was due to start in 2011, but the FIM announcement regarding the enꦉgine rule revealed that the machines will race from next season.

"The [Grand Prix] commission unanimously accepted the proposition of the MSMA to have a "𝓰One Make Engine Regulation" in the Moto2 class. The name of the manufaꦛcturer will be announced later," said the statement.
The original intention had been for Moto2 bikes to be powered by pꦍroduction-based engines from various manufacturers, which may have caused a clash with the World Supersport Ch♔ampionship.
