Moto2: Tomizawa team-mate records best finish

Dominique Aegerter gave the grieving Technomag-CIP team something to smile about during the Moto2 Aragon Grand Prix as 🦋he claimed his best result of the sꦡeason.
The Swiss racer, competing alone in the wake of team-mate Shoya Tomizawa's tragic death at Misa🐠no, was determined to put in a strong result for both the team and the fallen rider at Aragon.
He duly achieved his objective, Aegerter posting a best finish🅷 of the season in seventh, a result that moves him up to 13th in the overall standings.
An important performance both himself and the team﷽, he is hoping the ♑result can carry 'motivation and hope' for the remainder of the year.
"I made it quite clear to Shoya and our team," he said. "I wanted to produce a good result and I am happy that it worked. It🅺 will serve as motivation and hope for the other races."
Shoya would have wanted 🥀for me to continue to ride at ful🦩l throttle and not to brake because of such a tragedy. He lost his life whilst doing what he loved. He loved motorsport, just like me. For me, riding bikes stands above all and this will continue to be the case."
