Crutchlow diagnosed with sprained ankle

Cal Crutchlow has b👍een diagnosed with a sprained left ankle following his heavy 🌟Saturday morning fall at Silverstone, but is to undergo further medical checks before continuing in his home British MotoGP.
The Yamaha Tech 3 rider, who missed last year's ra🐲ce when he broke his collarbone in qualifying, was initially feared to have broken his ankle in the out♑-lap fall.
After medical checks a message on the official MotoGP Twitter account de☂clared: "It is confirmed that Cal Crutchlow suffered a sprained 🌳left ankle".
That seemed to clear the way for Crutchlow to return for qualifying, but a later (midday) posting announced: "Crutchloꦺw to undergo another examination this afternoon before deciding on further participation [in] the GP."
As well as hurting his ankle, the Englishman received an all-round battering when he lowsided ꦅthrough the fast left-hander onto the Hangar Straight in the cold and windy conditions.
Crutchlow was already recovering from upper body injuries in a fast☂ post-rac💞e testing fall at Catalunya.
Rooki🎃e Stefan Bradl (Honda LCR), who was also sent to the medica🏅l centre this morning, sustained a wounded left ring finger.
