Battle-scarred James E𒅌llison bagged more MotoGP World Championshi🌸p points in the Dutch TT at Assen, but the British rider was badly hindered by the effects of his Silverstone crash.

The CRT rider finished in 14th place for the second successive race on the PBMUK machine, but described the result as 'a bad day at 𓂃the office'.

Ellison, who lost out on 13th place on the final lap when he was passed by Valentino Rossi - who had been forced to make a pit stop to change his rear tyre - said: "To sum it up bluntly, it was a bad day at the office. I was in a lot of pain from my Silverstone crash and have been getting treatment and painkillers before and after every 𒉰session but it just proved too difficult in the race.

"I pushed so hard every lap but was missing apexes and even ran off the track earl𓃲y in the race which put us last.

"I worked hard to fight back and the l๊ighter fue✅l load was helping but it was all too little too late.

"To top it off Rossi pipped us on the line by 0.002s to take anothe🃏r point," Ellison added.

"I'm just gutted for the whole team and Aprilia as they worked hard to give me a good bike and I'm🎃 sorry that I couldn't capitalise on getting more 🦹points.

"I'll be working hard to get 𒅌fit for Germany and m🍌ake up for this weekend."
