Hungarian Grand Prix: Budapest extends F1 contract

The Hungarian Grand Prix will remain a staple of the F1 🐻schedule for at least another nine years, after Bernie Ecclestone formalised negotiations on an extension ahead of the 2013 race.

The new deal wiꦗll keep a race at the Hungaroring through to the 2021 season, and was signed off by both Ecclestone and Hungary's minister of national development, Zsuzsanna Nemeth, ahead of Sunday's grand prix.

"It is an extension of what we had, [through] until 2021," Ecclestone told Sky Sports F1, "The whole atmosphere is g𒊎ood here, it is old style, and we are goin🍃g to see the same in Austria."
