Sepang Moto2 race red flagged after massive fall

The Malaysian Moto2 Grand Prix h🐻as been red flagged on the opening lap after a massive multi-rider incident on the back straight.
A🤪xel Pons fell - possibly after contact - as he accelerated onto the straight. Following riders swerved to avoid the Spaniard's Kalex before it was hit head-on by a rider at the back of the field.
Sever🔥al further competitors were subsequently broug🌟ht down in the mayhem.
In total Zaqhwan Zaidi, Ezequiel Iturrioz, Decha Kraisart, Fadli Immammuddin and Pons were inv𒉰olved.
Pons walked away - with the arm of his leathers missing - and, miraculously, all the ri𓆉ders involved have been "deemed ok".
Pons' team-mate Esteve Rabat ha🌺d been leading the race, while title leader Scott Redding put in a storming start to carve his way up the order from tenth to fourth.
The restart will be over twelve laps.
