Former Manx Gra﷽nd Prix winner Stephen McIlvenna has been🎃 killed following an incident during practice for the Manx Grand Prix.

The accident happened on Tuesday evening on the Mountai✱n Mile section of the 37.73-mile ⛦circuit.

Mr McIlvenna was 39 an𝓡d is from Randalstown in County Antrim in Northern Ireland.

A statement issued by the Manx Motor Cycle Cl🍒ub said: "Stephen McIlvenna was an experienced racer who first competed in the Manx Grand Prix in 2005. He won the 2009 Junior Manx Grand Prix. He also competed in the TT Races in 2010.

"Th⛎♐e Manx Motor Cycle Club wish to pass on their deepest sympathy to Stephen's family and friends."

An investigation into 𓄧the circumstances of the ac♋cident is underway.
