WSBK Jerez: Davies seeking 'two or three tenths' for podium battle

Chaz Davies admitte🥃d after qualifying that he needs to find "two or three tenths" to be able to battle for the podium at Jerez this weekend but remains confident that is an achievable objective.
Two crashes during Friday's practice sessions didn't give Davies the strongest start to the Spanish WSBK race weekend,𝓡 but the Welshman was pleased with the progress in the lead up to Superpole, where he proceeded to🗹 qualify in seventh.
"It's not been too but the speed is so-so and straight away when I rolled out yesterday it felt good but in the afternoon I crashed twice," he told wuqian0821.com. "It was a little bit of a lack of feeling in the front, I could push it but then straight away it was gone so it was a bit weird. Jerez can be a bit like that though when the temperature rises but today we made some tweaks and it fဣelt a bit better.
"In Superꦇpole it was pretty decent so all in all it's not too bad and we're there or thereabouts but we need to find two or three tenths."
When asked what his target was for tomorrow's race Davies spoke about the congested battle for the podium where n🌳umerous riders seem to have similar race pace
"I think that the pace for the podium is quite tigh🐬t, Marco is the only guy that I can see that has a really go𝔍od pace and can do it at the end of the race, but there's a lot of guys quite close together so it will be an interesting race."
