Bradley Ray set for BSB with Buildbase Suzuki
Bradley Ray will make his MCE British Superbike championship debu🧜t in 2017 as he steps up from the British Supersport series wit🅠h new team Buildbase Suzuki.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a rapid rise up the ranks since his stint in the Red Bull Rookies Cup having come through the National Superstock 600 series and British🎃 125cc championship before an eye-catching rookie British Supersport campaign which saw him finish third in the riders' championship🍰 having claimed six wins along the way in 2016.
The 💫former Moto2 world championship wildcard rider is relishing the move upও to BSB and the challenge of a steep learning curve on the all-new GSX-R1000 with Buildbase Suzuki.
"I am really excited about moving up into the Superbike class; it will be a totally new experience for me and I can't wait to get started," Ray said. "We had a good season in Supersport last year and I felt I learnt a lot. I am expecting it to be tough moving into the Superbike championship, but it's important to make the step up now.
"Suzuki have put a lot of work ꦺinto the new bike and I am looking forward to our first test. I want to get my head down, learn together with the team and hopefully surprise a few people before the end of my first season."
Buildba♍se Suzuki team boss Chandler Warren-Gray is thrilled to secure one of the brightest young British talents in the BSB paddock and is confideꩵnt the 19-year-old will be able to adapt with ease.
