Edenbr🍎idge Racing boss Peter Briggs has admitted that he is disappointed with the performance of 💃his team's European specification BMW 320 in this seasons BTCC.

Speaking ahead of the meeting at Oulton Park, where Justin Keen suffered two DNFs either side of a 15th place finish in race two, Briggs told wuqian0821.com that the team hasn't yet reached the levels he hop✅ed for.

"It's been bloody horrible!" he said. "We've got quite a lot to sort out. Justin's new to touring cars and we are getting there. Every time he goes out in the car he gets quicker and that's were we are at the moment. We aren't as
ꦉfar up the grid as we w𝄹ould have hoped, let's put it that way."

E♊denbridge only joined the 2004 championship at the second meeting of the year at Brands Hatch, a fact that Briggs admits has put them at a disadvantage compared to opponents who have had more testing time.

"It's a big disadvantage," he explained. "We did no running at all so you're basically testing every time you come out and then making changes to the car. It's totally the wrong way to go motor racing but unfortu꧟nately there is no other way of doin🥀g it."

Despite the problems associated with a lack of testing, Briggs remains confident thaꦡt the team ꦅcan move forward as the season progresses.

"We have to take that extra step," he said. "We ౠshould probably be very close to SEAT and slightly quicker than the [Team Sureterm] Alfa and I say that because the SEATs are a full factory effort.

"If you look at the European scenario, the privateer BMW and Alfa Romeo teams ar🍬e a step behind the works SEAT outfit so that is where I expect us to be."
