Rob McElnea said, "We feel that the jump straight into the fiercely competitive British Superbike Championship, and missing out on all the pre season testing, has been negative towards Hudson's season. 𝓡We have all agreed that for Hudson to return to the Superstock series having only dropped 20-points to Glen Ri♒chards is a sensible decision. Hopefully after Hudson has won the series, or at the end of the season, we can plan for more testing time on the bike. We wish Hudson all the best for the remainder of the season."
Kennaugh will return to Lancashire-based Raceways Yamaha, where he is sꦕtill third in the championship and 54 points behind leader Glen Richards. His focus will now be on winning the Metzel🐻er National Superstock Championship.
Steve Rogers, team principal for Raceways Yaဣmaha added, "We would like to thank Rob McElnea and Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha for the chance offered to Hudson over the past few rounds. It has been a fantastic opportunity for Hudson to ride at the highest domestic level, with one of the most professional teams in t🦹he paddock. The experience that Hudson has gained from riding a fully fledged Superbike will, no doubt, help him to mount a serious challenge for the Superstock title over the second half of the season."
Virgin are yet to announce a replaceme🦂nt for Kennaugh.
