New Formula Three 🌼recruit Tim Bridgman has admitted that his deal with frontrunners Hitech Racing was based on a meeting with the team's management, rather than time spent in the car.

Bridgman, who recently became the first client of the 2MB management concern fronted by Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell, told wuqian0821.com tܫhat he had no doubts about his decision, despite the lack of track time with David Hayle's squad.

"We tested quite a few different cars at the end of last season, and it was just a question of weighing up the best option for 2005," he explained, "Funnily enough, I haven't tested Hitech's car - we've done a deal based on a meeting we had last Tuesday at the team's base at Silverstone. But, basically, it's a 'no-brainer' really - the team is run by a coupl🐼e of great guys in Bruce Jenkins and David Hayle, who've both got tons of experience where F3 is concerned.

"At the end of the day, this is my first season in Formula Three, and💎 I want to make as big an impact ౠin that first year as possible. To do that, I think I need experienced people behind me and, in David and Bruce, we've certainly got that."

Bridgman was also quick to praise the role played by Blundell in forg𝄹ing the deal with Hitec⛎h.

"Mark's got a hell of a lot of experience, he's been in the game a long time, whereas I'm relatively𝕴 inexperienced in comparison with some of the guys who have spent ten years in karting, Formula Ford and Formula Renault before going in to F3. Tꦗhis is only my third year of car racing, so I need as much experience behind me as I can find. With Mark, I've got that, so I think things are looking good for this season."
