Christian ꧟Jones Motorsport recently returned a famous Asian name to the cockpit of a racing car, running John Marcelo in one of its Formula Th🐬ree cars.

The Philippino driver is the younger brother of the late Jovy Marc🦩elo, who perished in a practice accident at Indi𝕴anapolis Motor Speedway in 1992, having recently graduated to the CART series as Formula Atlantic champion.

"It was fantastic to see a Marcelo back behind the wheel of a race car," team owner Christian Jones admitted, "I'm honoured to give John his first test in a Formula Three 𝕴car. His brother was a true champion"

Jones, the son of F1 world champion Alan Jones and cur🧔rent holder of the Asian F3 title, added that he hoped to be able to run Marcelo in this year's series.

"J♍ohn did a good job today considering his experience and, after seeing how much he enjoyed the experience - and the smile on his father's face - I will try to make that possible," he said.
