Pourchaire dominates Monaco F2 feature race to become youngest-ever winner

Pourchaire’s victory in the principality makes him the youngest-ever race winner in the series’ hist💦ory at just 17.
The Frenchman mainꦇtained the lead into Turn 1 ahead of Prema’s Robert Shwartzman and never looked back from that moment onwards.
Pourchaire stopped a lap later than Shwartzman - who suffered a slow stജop - on Lap 30, to maintain the net lead, as Guanyu Zho♉u opted for a long first stint.
As Pourchaire ran away at the front, it was a battle betwe🍎en the Premas an🍒d Dan Ticktum for the other two spots on the podium.
Shwartman’s slow pit stop meant he dropped to fifth, behind teammate Oscar Piastri, Dan Ticktum and Felipe🍸 Drugo꧙vich, who stopped early on the alternate strategy.
A decisive moment came on Lap 33 when Piastri locked up his front-right tyre into the Swimming Pool se💃ction allo♎wing Ticktum to challenge him for the position.
As Ticktum tried to go around the outside of Rascasse, Piastri ran him out of room, forcing the🐽 Carlin driver into the barriers.
The stewards deemed it to be a racing incident with Piastri maintaining second ahead of Drugovich, who was the st💯ar of the 𝄹day, going from ninth to the podium.
Zhou’s long first stint allowed him t👍o rejoin in third but poor tyre warm-up meant he dropped to fifth, taking the fastest lap on the final lap on his fresh ty💟res.
Ralph Boschung continued his encouraging weekend with sixth ahead of Lia🍌m Law✱son.
Juri Vips’ five-second penalty for an incident with🍰 Marcus Armstrong proved to be inco🍃nsequential, ultimately classifying eighth.
