Charles Leclerc closes out Austrian GP practice fastest for Ferrari

Charles Leclerc kept Ferrari at the top of the timesheets in final p🙈ractice for tꦓhe Austrian Grand Prix on Saturday, edging out championship leader Lewis Hamilton by one-tenth of a second.

After leading a truncated second practice session on Friday afternoon, Leclerc managed to stay out front in FP3 as teams completed their first clean qualifying siꦿmulations of the weekend.

Leclerc managed to record a best time of 1m03.987s on the Soft compound tyre to finish fastest, 0.143s clear of Hamilton in second place as Ferrari sent out a warning shot ahead of qualꦿifying later today.

Red Bull struggled to compete with the leading two teams through final practice as Max Verstappen finished almost half a second off the pace in P5, while teammate Pierre Gas🧜ly was over one second in arrears to Leclerc, winding up seventh overall behind McLaren's Lando Norris.

Consolidating McLaren's good form in FP3 was Carlos Sainz, who took eighth, while Antonio Giovinazzi and Daniil Kꦛvyat closed out the top 10 for A🎀lfa Romeo and Daniil Kvyat in P9 and P10 respectively.
