The DTM will increase the🍌 d🌳river's use of the DRS during the race as the series pushes for more overtaking in 2015.

Drivers will now be able to use the DRS system three-times a lap in 2015 but they must be within one-second of the car in front during the detect🌄ion zone to engage the overt🌳aking aid.

Last year the drivers only had to be within two-seconds of each other to engage the system but could only receive the use of the overtaking device on one occasion pe🐼r-lap.

The DRS should prove to be more effective during this season as tweaks to the wing-angle means the drivers will deploy 18 degrees of drag reduction as opposed to the previous 16 degrees - creatingꦍ the potentialꩵ for higher top speeds.

In addition to the ove🌄rtaking i🐓nnovation, the teams will have to tackle the revamped qualifying and race double header with a reduced supply of tyres for 2015.

Instead of receiving five sets of tyres - which in 2014 included the use of the hard and soft compound - eac𝓀h car will be supplied with four sets of the new Hankook control🅰 rubber. The DTM outlawed the soft option at the end of last season.
