Randy Krummenacher has extended his World Supersport championship lead to 22 points over team-mate Federico Caricasulo by beating him in a final-lap fight atℱ 🌊Misano.

Krummenacher🌃 in𝐆itially led at the start of the lap before Caricasulo dived up the inside at Turn 4, which forced the Swiss rider wide and lose vital ground in the sprint down the back straight.

But clawing back time 🎐towards the final sector, Krummenacher measured his charge on the sequence of right-handers to dive inside his team-mate before defending the inside line at the penultimate corner switchback.

The pair rubbed fairing and elb🔯ows in the sprint to the final co🌠rner but defending the inside Krummenacher kept in front by just 0.084s at the finish line.

With Caricasulo having to settle for second place Mahias almost profited from the fight at the front in third place, just 0.161s off the outright victory, h🦋aving pulled clear of Jules Cluzel on the GMT94 Yamaha in fourth place.

Hikari Okubo grabbed fifth place for Puccetti Kawasaki having faded late on from the front group, while Lo🐭renzo Gabellini grabbed sixth place for Gomma Racing Yamaha.

Hannes Soomer completed a lonely race in seventh place for WILSport Racedays Honda, while Kevin Man🎃fredi stole eighth ♓place at the line from Thomas Gradinger as Massimo Roccoli rounded out the top 10.
