Jon💃athan Rea tops World Superbike warm-up at Mandalika ahead of a race one which could see Toprak Razgatlioglu crownꩲed world champion.

Warm-up got underway with damp patches as further rain could come during today’♊s double feature races.

Razgatlioglu and Scott Redding headed out immediately, however, Rea who lines up between the Ya✱maha and Ducati rider on the grid decided to remain in pit lane to begin Sunday’s running. 

Redding was the rider with thౠe ea🃏rly pace as he led Rea by over three tenths following the first few flying laps.

Impressive rookie Axel Bassani was third overal♓l which is a good sign for the Italian who has previous form in wet/damp conditions should it raiಌn later today. 

While Redding moved the benchmark time down to a 1m 35s flat, B🙈assani and Chaz Davies made it a Ducati 1-2-3 with five minutes to go. 

After takin𒁏g things easy during the early stages, Razgatlioglu managed to go second fastest. 

But the championship leader was quickly moved down to third as Rea went ꧒quickest overall as r🌄iders began their final lap. The top three of Rea, Redding and Razgatlioglu remained unchanged as the chequered flag dropped. 

The opening WorldSBK race in Indonesia was postponed until Sunday due to extrไeme rain prior to the scheduled start.⛄ It means race one and two will take place today, however, race one replaces the now cancelled Superpole race.

Before qualifying took place Alex Lowes was declared unfit after suffering an AC joint injury following 🥂a highside ꧒crash in FP3.

WorldSBK FP3 took place without Team HRC rider Leon Haslam after it was confirmed that the𓆏 British rider would take no further part in his final weekend as a world championship rider due to a shoulder injury.
