Rinaldi and Rea were the riders with the pace througho⛄ut as they immediately set sub 1m 40s lap times.

Rea was ༒first to do so, but Rinaldi, who was following the six-time world champion come the pair’s third laps around, managed to pip the Kawasaki rider by just under a tenth.

It was an impressive start to race day for American Garrett Gerloff who slotted into third with just over four minutes remaining - a position he maintained through ಞto the flag.

Since his coming together and crashes with several riders early in the ye🙈ar, Gerloff has been a shell ⭕of his former self, however, the speed has remained there on various occasions including this session.

Pole sitter for today’s double feature races, Toprak Razgatliogl🌌u was seventh fastest, one spot ahead of team-mate Andrea Locatelli.

After missing Saturday’s Superpole qualifying a🌳nd FP3 sessions, it has b💛een confirmed that Lucas Mahias will miss the remainder of 2021 due to injury.
