Misano WorldSBK: Tough weekend for Redding, ‘never really improved honestly’

Scott Redding has lost more ground to his closest WorldSBK rivals after finishing behind🌃 Toprak Razgatlioglu and Jonathan Rea in all three Misano races.
Redding had a consistent weekend, but one where a lack of feeling with the ‘fron꧒t tyre’ cost him any chance of fighting for the podium.
Redding was unable to challenge Razgatlioglu, Rea and team-mate Michael Rinaldi in any of the three races, which resulted in a 45 point deficit to Rea in the championship.🉐
Redding said: "It was a hard weekend from the beginning. We got off on ♎a difficult foot and never really imp🉐roved honestly.
"Just been fourth position every race. Today we were able to improve a little bit the feeling with the bik💦e compared to yesterday but it was not enough to be able to reach the podium.
🌄"Honestly, in the first laps of the Superpole Race, I thought I could fight with Johnny (Rea) in an incisive way, while in Race-2 I felt I had no grip with the front tyre.
"It was a tꦑriple whammy for me because my team-mate was super fast all weekend and 🍌you always want to beat your team-mate."
Rinaldi had the strongest weekend of any Ducati rider so far this se🍸ason with two wins and a second place, however🌺, the Italian remains some way off the championship battle at the moment.
But it was valuable points lost to th🌄e likes of Razgatliogℱlu and Rea who are sure to be competing for the title come season’s end.
"Okay, fo🍎r the championship he’s [Rinaldi] not a big threat at this moment. But then, Toprak [Razgatlioglu] was always in front and was already in front of me in the championship," 🅰;added Redding.
"Jonathan [Rea] was in front of me and in the championship, so it was just a hard weekend. I just had to try and stay calm, not try ♕to override and lose the points again."
