Pata 𝓰Yamaha team boss Paul Denning says he has zero worries about his squad becoming complacent following its recent run of wins in World Superbike ahead of its return to the challenging Laguna Seca track.

Denning’s team has notched up three wins over the past four races, Michael van der Mark secured a dominant Do💝nington Park double followed by Alex Lowes with victory in race two at Brno, to mark the factory-supported Yamaha team’s biggest breakthrough in the series since returning to World Superbikes at the start of 2016.

Despite Pata Yamaha’s progress the team now heads to a circuit it has struggled for perform๊ance at in recent seasons, with Lowes’s fifth place in race one in 2016 marking the Yamaha’s best result at the United States round since its comeback to the World Superbike championship.

As a result, Denning is confident Pata Yam🅰aha will resume its current campaign with added mom꧟entum from its recent wins but is braced for a challenging race weekend.

“The last two rounds and four races have been fantastic for us and it feels great to go and have a meal and a few beers with the team at the end of two great rounds,” Denning said. “Now it is time to prepare for Laguna Seca which has been traditionally a challenging place for us to get as mu♏ch performance out of the package that we want👍 to.

“We arrive here very much with our feet on the ground and looking to keep that great momentum but equally we need🗹 to no exceed any expectations. We will keep working hard and see where we can keep up. I feel here at Laguna Seca we are not coming here thinking we can repeat that, we are coming here to work hard and try to get as close as we can to the front guys and see where we end up.”
