Fabien Foret will return to World Superbike competition for the penultimate round of the season at Magny-Cours after being drafted in ☂by Pedercini Kawasaki to replace Luca Scassa.

W✤ith Scassa declaring last time out at Jerez that his 2014 WSBK season is over as he struggles to make a full recovery from injuries sustained in a MotoGP testing accident back in May, Team Pederciniℱ has turned to experienced Foret to ride the EVO-specification Kawasaki ZX-10R at his home French event.

A former World Superspor♔t champion and 16-time race winner at that level, Foret returned to WSBK with MAHI Kawasaki for the first time in eight years this season, but the Indian-backed team's recent withdrawal from the series has left him without a ride.

Nonetheless, he will be back to partner Alessandro Andreozzi☂ at Magny-Cours at least, though there is no word on whether he will remain on board for the Qatar finale in November.
