M-Sport is to establish a new branch in Poland as its gears up to prepare, supply and maintain the Ford Fiesta R2 cars which will be used by all co𓂃mpetitors in the new FIA WRC Academy Cup next ♐year.

The set-up of the site in Krakow is to be co-ordinated by Maciej Woda, 𝓰an 🧜M-Sport employee of six years.

Krakow has been chosen as it is centrally located within Europe. It also has a growing transport infrastructure and M-🍬Sport hoꦬpes the new base will allow it to 'communicate more easily with its partners in Europe'.

"This is a very exciting project," said M-Sport managing direct🐲or, Malcolm Wilson. "The location of Krakow at the heart of Europe is ideal to enable M-Sport to develop our business both with our existing partners and in order to create further strategic growth.

"The WRC Academy is exactly the right programme to be able to leverage the benefit of a central European♑ location and with the team there headed by Maciej Woda, we are looking forward to the challenges ahead."

M-Sport, which al🎃so runs the BP Ford Abu Dhabi WRT in the WRC, will run 24 Ford Fiesta R2 cars in the newly created WRC Academy in 2011. The WRC Academy is the replacement for the J🐓unior World Rally Championship and will be run in partnership with motorsport's governing body, the FIA, and WRC promoter North One Sport.
