V8 Supercar owner-driver Jason Bright has taken the bold - if en🎃tirely understandable - decision to take his #25 Fujitsu Racing Ford to the crack Stone Brothers Racing operation in search of success in 2009.

Bright revealed that he was setti꧟ng his sights on winning the 2009 title at the wheel of an SBR-prepared car on the eve of the series' annual trip to Bahrain, and confirmed that he would take key staff from his Britek Motorsport operation to SBR's Queensland base in an effort to create a three-car 'superteam' to take on the likes of the Holden Racing Team, Triple Eight Race🎐 Engineering and Ford Performance Racing.

"This is the perfect opportunity to𓂃 return to the pointy end of the field - and the timing for this merger has never been better," an enthusiastic Bright noted, "I've tried to push the Fujitsu Racing Falcon well𒐪 into the top ten and have done so on a number of occasions, but, with a new car coming on stream and the changes in fuel technology, we simply don't have the resources, or time, to research and develop what is needed to be competitive.

"Ross and Jimmy Stone have made great strides in these areas and alread✱y have a race-winning package, and I am delighted to be able to return to a team 𒁏I enjoyed so much success with when I first started my V8 Supercar career. I'm after my first V8 championship - starting right now."

A decision on the second, currently IRWIN-sponsored, Britek entry will not be made until early Dec💞ember, but Bright admitted that the car would also benefit🐼 from the SBR alignment.
