2005 Stone Brothers Racing endurance driver Warren Luff has secured a full-time drive at Jason Bright's Britek🧸 Motorsport team for this year's V8 🀅Supercar Championship Series.

Sporting a reduced main-game campaign, Britek Motorsport will field a sole Fujitsu Racing entry for Luff in the premier class of Australian Touring Cars, wit🍷h 2005 team member Jose 🙈Fernandez continuing to drive a Fujitsu-backed Falcon in the newly renamed Fujitsu V8 Series.

Despite the re-design and rebuilding of both team Falcons, Britek will not field a second car in the V8 Supercar Championship with it🀅s other Level Two franchise, unless sufficient backing can be acquired.

Luff has an impressive✃ resume in racing V8 Supercars. After winning a V8Brute title in 2003, Luff was scooped up by Dick Johnson Racing to drive the #18 Shell Helix Ford for the 2004 V8 Supercar Championship. When dropped by DJR to make way for Glenn Seton, Luff spearhead🔯ed Paul Cruickshank Racing's revamped tier-two series assault - eventually finishing second in the title fight to the dominant Dean Canto - and was regarded the top candidate to drive alongside Marcos Ambrose at Bathurst, when Stone Brothers Racing signed him as co-driver for the Pirtek BA Falcon.

With Michael Caruso replacing Luff i🔴n the lead Paul Cruickshank Racing Ford for 2006, Luff looked unlikely to secure another drive in the Fujitsu series, yet it is ironic that he was the man to drive in place of erstwhile Britek pilot, Steve Owen, for this year's series.

Equally excited is Britek Motorsport's General Manager💛 Chris Jewel, who anticipates an improved year for Fujitsu Racing in 2006.

Luff's signing to drive the #25 Fujitsu Falcon in 2006 also strengthens speculation t⛄hat former Britek driver Steve Owen will join a one-car operation, run by Rod Nash Racing.
